Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Accountability, guides the planning, development, management, evaluation, and administration of the teacher residency program operated by the El Dorado County Office of Education. Works in coordination with El Dorado County Office of Education partner school districts to recruit a diverse cohort of teacher residents, and provides professional development, coaching, and program coordination. Partners with Teachers College of San Joaquin (TCSJ) to provide high-quality, California Commission on Teacher Credentialing approved credential programs for teacher residents.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Experience: At least five years K-12 teaching experience required. Experience coordinating and implementing staff development programs and as a mentor teacher. Familiarity with UDL, coaching protocols, and adult learning theory. Experience supervising and evaluating teachers preferred. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and a valid California teaching credential are required. Administrative credential preferred.
