Montgomery School District in Cazadero, CA. is looking for a Superintendent/Principal for our Montgomery Elementary School (MES). While Montgomery Elementary School is approximately 45 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa and tucked away in rural West Sonoma County, we are not isolated. We have a strong educational team who work together to provide all students a rich learning environment both in the classroom and the world beyond so that they move on to high school well prepared for their future and the opportunities it will bring. The dual role of superintendent and principal is an unique and exciting opportunity. It allows for a hands-on, creative and versatile leader to be a visible presence and participant in our tight-knit school community. The new Superintendent/Principal is an integral part of MES in supporting students, families and staff. S/he will take MES into the future building on our successes while implementing the vision and values of Montgomery Elementary School District. The superintendent/principal is the sole administrator in charge of the school district and of Montgomery Elementary School. As such, s/he needs to continually to develop efficient systems for all aspects of the school in order to perform all the administrative roles of a district. *See attached job description for more information.
