General Responsibilities
Under direction of the Director of Behavioral Health and Regional School Safety Center, provide clinical supervision for staff providing services in an outpatient program. Treatment services are delivered in a school setting.
Assignment:
We are recruiting for a Clinical Supervisor to supervise MSW staff and interns. The person in this position will need a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Washington State DOH Advanced Social Worker or Independent Clinical Social Worker license.
The position is full-time, year-round. This is a one year, grant-funded position with the ability to continue with ongoing funding.Essential Functions/Other Functions
Essential Functions:
- Provide clinical supervision and training for behavioral health staff in accordance with 246-341 WAC.
- Support and implement ESD 112 Behavioral Health Agency policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and become proficient in the use of the agency Electronic Health Record for the purpose of training staff on the use of the electronic health record, conducting chart reviews and monitoring caseloads.
- Review and approve case documentation for trainees to include, but not limited to, assessments, individual service plans and progress notes.
- Conduct quarterly chart reviews and ensure required consents, releases of information and other legal documentation are included in charts.
- Provide supervision and observation for school based behavioral health clinicians.
- Provide schools with resources regarding behavioral health as requested.
- Participate in initiatives, grant implementation and other projects designed to enhance agency services.
- Participate in community and/or provider collaboratives, workgroups and meetings regarding behavioral health and/or schools as assigned.
Other Functions:
- Attend school staffing meetings when appropriate.
- Provide training and consultation for school staff on mental health, suicide prevention and crisis response.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mental Health or Social Work. (Education requirements will vary based on staff requiring clinical supervision)
- Washington State Department of Health Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Advanced Social Worker or Independent Clinical Social Worker. (Licensing requirements will vary based on staff requiring clinical supervision)
- Qualify as an Approved Clinical Supervisor as stated in WAC 246-809-134.
- Experience with youth treatment programs and working with parents.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification.
- Early childhood experience and knowledge.
- Experience working with schools, social services and Juvenile Justice.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing and coding.
Working Conditions/Employment Requirements
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Flexible work hours required.
- Travel to districts in the ESD region.

- Successful completion of a criminal history and fingerprint check through the Washington State Patrol and FBI.
