Job Summary
Job Summary
The College Counselor position has been created to support our college going culture at CLCS. This position will support our learners and families with college advising at both Alameda and Nea Community Learning Centers (8 hrs per week for each school). CLCS is committed to fostering an anti-discriminatory, anti-racist learning community that focuses on the whole child and is inclusive and welcoming to all. Tasks include: -Parent and learner education / workshops on College Application, FAFSA, and college planning. -12th grader individual college advising -10th grade mandatory college planning - 8th-11th grade college planning and parent workshops The best candidates for the position will be able to move quickly from task to task while maintaining a warm and welcoming attitude.

Classroom teachers who want to be classroom facilitators needed for innovative new public charter school based on the award winning ACLC educational model. Qualified applicants will have a single-subject, California credential (supplementary authorizations a plus) and be able to teach core subject matter with collaboration and projects as the focus and foundation of applied teaching strategies.
