Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Student Support and Special Education, the Social-Emotional School Counselor oversees and supports social emotional learning across the organization. The Counselor works with the Homeschool Teacher (HST), parents, students, and all other academic staff of the Charter school to support student social-emotional needs. The School Counselor oversees the Suicide Prevention and Students in Crisis programs. They also oversee and provide social-emotional and counseling services, supports, and referrals.
