Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Business & Administrative Services is responsible for directing and supervising various functions of the business division including Fiscal Services, Facilities, Operations, Child Nutrition, Transportation, Safety and Risk Management; provides administrative and financial assistance to the Superintendent, Board of Trustees, sites, and district office staff; provides coordination and oversight of staff development for the District; serves as the District’s main point of contact for Classified Personnel. This position serves on the District’s administrative team, and negotiations team. Guided by board policies, administrative regulations, and California Education Code, the Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for carrying out the District's fiscal operations and administrative services in support of the District's educational program while maintaining the District's fiscal solvency.

Qualifications:
- CBO Certification (or, minimally, currently enrolled in a program to obtain certification)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business, public administration, or school administration preferred
- M.A. /M.S. degree, Ed.D. or Ph.D. preferred
Experience:
Five or more years of varied and responsible school business, school administrative experience or equivalent management experience.
