Job Summary
The Director of Curriculum and Instruction - Secondary is responsible for providing leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of curriculum and instruction in the District; assist in the planning, organization, support and evaluation of the curricular and assessment programs of the District; and work collaboratively with all District personnel to develop advocacy of a high-quality educational program for all students, processes and products. This position supports student achievement by ensuring the successful implementation of the District’s educational goals.
Requirements / Qualifications
• California Teaching Credential; General Elementary, Standard Elementary, Multiple Subject, or other appropriate California Credential. • Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. • EL certification or the commitment to obtain within three (3) years. • Possession of an appropriate, valid California driver’s license.
• Two (2) years of experience as Principal or equivalent District Office Administrative experience.
