THE POSITION
The Technology & Data Services Division is currently accepting applications for the position of Software Engineer.
Under assigned supervision, the Software Engineer designs, develops, analyzes, implements, and maintains highly complex web-based business applications for the Santa Clara County Office of Education, districts, schools, and community; codes, tests and scripts programs and databases using web-based interactive technologies; communicates with users and project team members to recommend design options, determines functionality, simulations and programming needed for system requirements.
This position is full-time, in-person and has a work year of 12 months/ 261 days/ 8 hours per day.

- Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for week of May 27, 2024.
