Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director, Expanded Learning Program or designee, the Expanded Learning Program Coordinator will support staff, consultants, and community partners necessary for the successful implementation of the Expanded Learning Program Department and the District’s preschool-based programs. This position will support the District's Preschool Programs. Early Childhood Education Units, equivalent to the requirements for the Site Director under Community Care Licensing, are required. Requirements / Qualifications
Training/Education and Experience: Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree in education, child development, recreation, psychology, or related fields or equivalent experience in a field related to child and youth development. If supporting the District’s Preschool programs: Possession of Early Childhood Education units comparable to Site Director under California Community Care Licensing guidelines are required. Experience: Experience in after school programming and/or preschools working with children, families, community groups, schools, and public agencies in education and related fields. Licenses and Other Certifications: Possession of First Aid/CPR/AED Adult & Child certificates issued by an authorized agency. Possession of valid driver’s license and willingness to use personal vehicle to conduct work. Education Advancements: $216 annual stipend for every ten (10) semester units completed while employed by Santee School District. Official transcripts must be submitted for stipend. Longevity Increments: $2,000 annual stipend following 10 consecutive years in administrative service. Health & Welfare Benefits Employees receive an annual District contribution of $12,000 towards their choice of health plans. Majority of health plans are fully covered for the Employee Only with minimal contribution for Employee +1 or Employee + Family.
