Responsibilities: -Develop and execute engaging, age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote physical fitness, motor skills, and healthy habits among elementary school students. -Teach a variety of physical activities including sports, dance, and fitness exercises, ensuring students learn proper techniques and rules. -Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages active participation. - Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. - Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs. -Oversee the use and maintenance of physical education equipment, ensuring all gear is safe and functional. - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student growth and the school's educational objectives. - Actively participate in professional development opportunities, demonstrate a willingness to receive and implement coaching, and continuously seek to improve teaching skills and knowledge. - Uphold and promote Downtown Value Schools' five core values, inspiring students to embody these principles in their daily lives.
