This is an internal position with California Virtual Academies (a network of 9 public charter schools) You must be a current staff member hired by CAVA @ Fresno, CAVA @ Kings, CAVA @ Maricopa, CAVA @ Los Angeles, CAVA @ San Diego, CAVA @ San Joaquin, CAVA @ San Mateo, CAVA @ Sonoma, CAVA @ Sutter April/May Monthly Password To Apply Oversee the high school summer program. HOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION: Dates: 6/18/24- 7/23/2024 (June 19, July 4-5 are Holiday) Hours: Full Time (M-F 8:30am-4:00pm) Summer Position You are not allowed to have another job during contracted hours. Current salary based on 23-24 schedule We do participate in CalSTRS. Requirements: • Strong organizational skills • Able to balance and complete multiple projects • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills • Self-directed but comfortable working as part of a team • Able to problem solve • Proficient with the OMHS platform • Hold Current California Teaching Credential in course content area • Current HS CAVA Teacher or Lead Example of Duties: • Support a team of teachers and admin as the primary summer school administrators • Manage course enrollments in TotalView and Pathways, ensure accuracy of bridging data • Communicate summer school information with families • Respond to messages from the office related to summer school • Collaborate with curriculum team to ensure classrooms are set up and students have access • Manage course access for students as credit recovery courses are completed • Provide data to summer teachers on student attendance and engagement • Ensure IEP accommodations are in place • Collaborate with teachers on course completion and final grade marks • Review Pathways and TV grade reports and ensure all grades are entered or courses dropped • Collaborate with summer guidance counselor to ensure grades are updated and any Fall 2024 course changes are made • Hold summer school staff orientation • Collaborate with teachers and families to problem solve as needed • Update high school manual in SharePoint • Assist with ORN content development • Other duties as assigned Certificates and Licenses: Must hold a valid California Teaching credential California English Learner Authorization
