Job Summary
Under the direction of the site principal: Plans and teaches three (3) periods of an art elective focused on either visual or performing arts. Electives might include general art, ceramics, drama or media arts. Creates a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishes effective rapport with pupils; motivates pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; establishes good relationships with parents and other staff members.
