Job Summary
The Program Specialist, Support Systems is responsible to the County Superintendent and works under the direct supervision of the Director of Continuous Improvement & Support. Program Specialist, Support Systems (Math & Science), provides leadership and guidance to schools and districts in the area of inclusive academic instruction for all students within the CAMTSS framework. The Program Specialist serves as a resource and provides a high level of facilitation, professional development and technical assistance to schools and districts about: * CA Content Standards, assessment, and evidence-based, culturally sustaining, inclusive instructional practices for mathematics and science. * Systemic implementation of adopted CA Curriculum Frameworks including support for curriculum adoption, assessment alignment and instructional improvement. * Use of data, teaming and the continuous improvement process to improve access and outcomes while working toward educational equity.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required * Valid California Teaching Credential, Multiple Subject or Single Subject * Valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility Desired * Authorization(s) in mathematics and/or science subject(s). Specific experience and/or training: Required * Master’s Degree and three or more years’ experience working in a school, district or COE with increased leadership responsibilities

**This position is grant funded through June 30, 2026. Renewal of position and continued employment is based upon performance and grant funding allocations from year to year.
