Virtual schools are new models in public education. They look both backward to what we know works well in educating children, and forward to see how technology can help us implement these strategies with children. Virtual school teachers are part of a pioneering effort. Our teachers and leaders, therefore, need to share the school’s pioneering mission and approach. This position is based on current enrollment needs and is contingent upon sustaining appropriate staffing to student ratio. HOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION: Full time position work Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm You are not allowed to have another job during contracted hours. EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: • Permanent California residency • Strong organizational skills • Detail oriented • Able to balance and complete multiple projects. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Self-directed but comfortable working as part of a team • Proficient with student record processes • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with CAVA. ELIGIBILITY POOL: Our postings are eligibility pools for positions that may arise during the 2024-2025 school year, ONLY. REQUIRED CREDENTIAL/CERTIFICATION: (All applicants MUST have the following at the time of applying) Must hold a valid Clear California teaching credential. California English Learner Authorization

As the California Virtual Academies are public schools and this is a public school position, these are set contracted hours and you must be available/working during these hours while under contract with the California Virtual Academies. You are not allowed to have another job during these contracted hours.
Start Date
Immediate hires as needed throughout the 2024-2025 school year. We are an enrollment based school, we may need to hire Leads at any time throughout the year as our enrollment continues to grow.
