Job Summary

General Job Description: The Student Recruitment and Enrollment Director plays a crucial role in the charter school's mission to provide quality education by recruiting and enrolling students who will benefit from our educational programs. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, marketing acumen, and a passion for education. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and Implement a Recruitment Plan: Design and execute a plan to recruit students for all 4 schools. The plan should include marketing, outreach, enrollment, and registration strategies. The specialist should monitor the plan closely using data, and adjust the plan as needed through the support and feedback of the network and school teams. Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract prospective students and families to Value Schools.. This includes, but is not limited to, outreach to community organizations, hosting information sessions, touring schools, attending local events, and leveraging digital marketing platforms. The development of strategies Develop and form Strategic and Mutual Partnerships: Search for, establish and maintain mutual partnerships with various organizations, schools, and families to establish a recruiting pipeline into Value Schools. The specialist should ensure at all times that the partnerships are mutually beneficial. Manage and Monitor Enrollment Process: Guide prospective families through the enrollment process, providing information about Value Schools curriculum, extracurricular activities, and admission requirements. Ensure all enrollment paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with School teams: Work closely with school administrators and staff to meet enrollment goals and develop strategies to meet those objectives. Demonstrate a strong independent work ethic, and ability to manage work without tight supervision or management. Demonstrate a creativity and passion to grow enrollment for Value Schools, and in forming relationships and partnerships with community members, including but not limited to school teams, parents, organizations, and additional schools outside of Value Schools. Demonstrate strong time management skills and a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, including but not limited to meeting deadlines and efficiently implementing tasks. Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills, integrity and the ability to exercise discretion in the dissemination of information. Demonstrate sensitivity, understanding, and the ability to effectively interact with individuals (internal/external) from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, disability and ethnic backgrounds. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Computer skills sufficient to maintain records and create reports. This includes Microsoft Office; (Excel, Word, and other financial planning/accounting software, PowerPoint). HRIS systems a plus Compliance with evidence of freedom from active tuberculosis, COVID-19 vaccination, criminal record review and employment eligibility verification. Qualifications 3-7 years’ experience in a related field is required, school experience a plus but is not required Spanish Speaker preferred
