Basic Function: Under supervision, sells admission tickets, performs miscellaneous clerical duties, and does related work as required. Organizational Relationships: The Pool Cashier Clerk reports to the Pool Manager. Distinguished from the Pool Manager in that the incumbent does not organize or direct the operation of a municipal swimming pool. Distinguished from Pool Locker Room Attendant in that the incumbent does not usually perform general housekeeping of pool locker rooms, shower rooms, or restrooms.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
• Operates a cash register and an automatic ticket machine.
• Collects fees and issues tickets.
• Answers the telephone and provides information to the public regarding events or programs held at the municipal swimming pool, admission prices, and hours of operation.
• May provide general housekeeping of the facility to ensure the safety of participants and the public.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
ABILITY TO:
• Learn cashiering methods and procedures.
• Perform the four basic arithmetic calculations.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the public (children and adults) and with other personnel.
• Learn basic first aid procedures.
