Job Summary
As a Necessary Small School Mountain Oaks is categorized as an Alternative Education site, not a continuation school. Teachers who hold a valid California Teaching Credential are legally able to provide instruction in multiple subjects. We are currently seeking candidates who have skillsets in developing relationships, individualizing instruction, and preferably hold a math or science credential. Alternative Education Teacher will meet, instruct and supervise students. Provide guidance to each pupil, which will promote their welfare and their proper educational development. Teachers will provide instruction in and integrate a variety of content areas. Relationship building, team teaching, and project management are essential pieces of this role. Start date: August 12, 2024 Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day

Bachelor's degree and appropriate, valid California Teaching Credential (Single Subject or Multiple Subject). Valid California Driver's license. Upon hire must clear fingerprint scan, submit proof of negative TB results, and CPR/First Aid certification.
