Job Summary

As a Floating Teacher, your responsibilities will encompass filling in for staff members on leave of absences across a diverse range of subject areas and roles. Whether it's substituting for a mathematics teacher one day, an English instructor the next, or providing support in electives or administrative duties as required, your role will ensure a smooth transition for students and continuity in their learning experiences. An ideal candidate will possess the qualities of flexibility, resourcefulness, and a passion for education across multiple disciplines, which might include core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) and / or Electives. Requirements / Qualifications

Eligible candidates must meet Valid California Teacher requirements. Single-Subject English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and/or Electives. Strong technology skills, especially in Microsoft OS and MS Office Programs. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong organizational skills, adaptable to a fast-paced, ever evolving environment. Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision. Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to new roles and responsibilities. Capacity to work extended hours at a computer, demonstrating sustained focus and productivity.
