We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, we prepare approximately 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. Job Summary

Job Summary

Provides individual and small group counseling and guidance to students and assists in other school programs as assigned for the purpose of improving educational and social functioning and outcomes for students. Establishes social and physical learning environment, which fosters; (a) conflict resolution, (b) positive pupil self-concept, and (c) socially acceptable behavior. Provides direct intervention services to children and families within the school environment and communities, including; (a) role modeling; (b) role-play (c) behavior modification interventions/plans, (d) socialization skills training, (e) supporting development or parenting skills; (f) consultation with school staff, and (g) improving attendance concerns.

Requirements / Qualifications

-Credential in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling. -3 Letters of Recommendation -TB Test (within the last 4 years)
