This is a 6.5-hours per day, 186-days per school year position (prorated for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year)

Requirements / Qualifications

Speech-Language Pathology Aide I = no degree; II = AA or AS degree; III = BA or BS degree. Equivalent to graduation from high school and/or any combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skill. An AA degree, or 2 years equivalence of acceptable college coursework, or successful passage of an acceptable rigorous assessment is highly preferred. Must pass an Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test with a score of 70% or higher in the areas of Math, Reading and Writing, or provide High School Proficiency verification; Possess a valid California driver license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. Transport students from time to time as required, in a county office vehicle. Participate in random alcohol and controlled substances testing as delineated in Superintendent Policy 4112.42, 4212.42, 4312.42 and Administrative Regulation 4112.42, 4212.42 and 4312.42.
