The Board of Trustees is seeking a strong, compassionate, and visionary educational leader committed to project-based learning and fiscal integrity. We are looking for a candidate who will provide leadership to the district and maintain an effective working relationship with staff and parents, while viewing our unique community as an asset. The ideal candidate will encourage parent and community involvement while being sensitive to staff and student needs. Guided by the district’s mission, vision, and goals, the superintendent/principal, acting under the authority delegated by the Board of Trustees, will be responsible for the operation of the school system.
Requirements / Qualifications
- A California Administrative Services Credential - A Master’s Degree from an accredited university - Successful teaching experience - Administrative experience as a vice principal, principal, director, or similar position demonstrating strong educational leadership responsibilities - An understanding of the challenges faced by rural school districts - Experience with project-based learning and/or outdoor learning - Technology knowledge and skills, including experience with remote, online learning - A proven track record of attracting new funding sources and services - Experience with labor relations and union negotiations

- Letter of Introduction (Letter of Interest)
