Job Summary
THE POSITION: Under direction, performs a variety of technical duties in support of the Human Resources/Personnel department. Participates in the recruitment, screening, and processing of new applicants. Performs a wide range of complex personnel technical support functions that require considerable initiative, accuracy, attention to detail and skill in organization and computer software applications. Provides information and assistance to employees, job applicants, and the public regarding Human Resource functions, policies, and procedures. Prepares and maintains a variety of manual and automated personnel files, records, and reports.
Requirements / Qualifications
Training, Education, and experience: Any combination of education, training and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described. Typically, this would include an AA degree in public or business administration, or a related field to human resources, and 3 or more years of successful work experience of increasing responsibility, preferably in public education.
