In accordance with the performance expectations of Springs, all classroom teachers shall meet the following employment criteria: A valid Tennessee teaching credential. Demonstrate expertise to competently perform the functions of the job. Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance (student teaching experience or status as an intern). Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the State Board of Education; demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for youth. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
