Requirements / Qualifications
Opportunities are available for part-time, limited term work, and all positions and length of employment are contingent upon enrollment, and number of students to be tested for Spring 2023. Qualified individuals will administer and score the Computer-based English Learner Proficiency Assessment of California (ELPAC) starting June 25 2024 through beginning of August 2024 (or until testing is completed). All successful candidates will be certified by passing a district screening and completing a hybrid in-person and online calibration course. Candidates must be available every day of training and calibration, date TBA. Candidates will work until all required students have been tested. Qualifications: Proficient speaker of English who has complete command of pronunciation, intonation and fluency in English. Successful completion of ELPAC calibration trainings. Ability to relate and effectively communicate with limited English proficient students from ages 4-18 (TK - 12th grade). Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Competence in use of computer and accurate typing/data entry skills. Must be available to attend ELPAC Training. Must be able to provide own transportation to multiple sites in one day.
