          The primary purpose of the position is to assist pupils in successfully meeting the educational goals of the District. To accomplish this purpose, the school psychologist provides services to pupils, teachers, parents and administrators. The specialty of school psychology involves skills in pupil assessment, diagnosis of learning, behavior and emotional disorders, counseling, developing corrective instruction strategies, implementing behavioral change interventions and providing training for parents and staff.
