Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Student Support & Special Education, the Special Education Support Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating various administrative tasks essential for the smooth and compliant operation of special education services. This position involves coordinating and overseeing processes related to ordering, testing site reservations, credential checks, scheduling, communication, record-keeping, and other administrative duties to ensure the efficient functioning of the department. Additionally, the Special Education Support Specialist position will be a hybrid position (virtual and in-office (Sacramento)) in which some time in the office will be required to support in-person tasks such as shipping, inventory, and student records.
