Job Description * Core classes to be taught are: Math, History, Science, Language Arts, with a strong emphasis on writing. * Create weekly and long-range lesson plans, while assessing students regularly. * Create microeconomic opportunities with local professionals: This will create hands-on learning opportunities for our students to further understand what they are learning in the classroom applies to the real world. Examples could include: bee keeping, paper making, welding, baking, etc... * Implement Socratic method of Q&A to supports critical thinking and discussion. Teacher will guide students to develop and run their own real business, marketing and selling products that they manufacture themselves. Supporting lessons are given on the scientific, historical, economic, practical and organizational aspects of their products. Student work includes bookkeeping, budgeting and purchasing, design, advertising, surveys, research, the writing of proposals, interviews of experts, and documentation.
