Visions In Education is seeking a highly skilled educator and leader to serve as our Director of Instruction for the Home School Academy. The Director of Instruction is responsible for driving the strategic leadership, development and management of educational strategies, plans and services designed to enhance and ensure student achievement and success that prepares students to function effectively in the marketplace. Maintains awareness of homeschooling best practices, curriculum, emerging technologies, and pedagogies. The Director of Instruction leads and guides principals, managers, counselors, and staff to ensure program, student and customer service goals are achieved. The Director of Instruction will report to the Senior Director of Instruction. Professionals with experience working with technology and virtual tools are desired. In addition, experience in instructional leadership and knowledge of home school and independent study programs, charter schools, and non-site based instructional models is preferred. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days at our office in Carmichael, CA with possible travel to all counties served by Visions and 2 days remotely. However, depending upon the needs of the organization and department this schedule is subject to change.
