The Director of Schools (DoS) is a critical member of the Navigator Schools senior leadership team charged with supporting our schools’ principals to deliver world-class student achievement. The DoS understands that the magic of Navigator occurs in the classroom and site leaders need to keep the priority of how they spend their time. Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer (CAO), the DoS works in collaboration with the CAO to ensure teaching and learning across the organization is high-quality, consistent, and mission-driven. The DoS will support the implementation of the academic vision for the organization and will lead a high-performing instructional team including school leaders. The DoS will develop teachers and leaders utilizing the NS coaching system as a primary means to achieving Navigator’s mission.
