Plan, organize, and participate in the clerical operations related to the assigned responsibilities of the Assistant Superintendent, Business Services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma; and,
Four years of responsible secretarial experience.
Use a computer at 55 wpm net;
Shorthand of 100 wpm desirable,
(or the ability to transcribe accurately from dictating equipment);
Ability to multitask Microsoft Office Suite;
Duties include:
Type minutes, orders, memorandums, statistical data, reports, documents, records, contracts, and Board agenda items;
Develops procedures to expedite transmittal of information or to facilitate implementation of policies and programs;
Maintains confidential files of correspondence, records and other documents;
Communicates with District personnel and the public, giving information where judgment, knowledge and interpretation of policies, procedures and regulations is necessary;
Prepares reports by finding, assembling and summarizing information and data;
Ability to compose letters independently; and
Schedule and coordinate a variety of work; and
Other duties as assigned.
