Job Summary

Head volleyball coach is responsible for training members of a volleyball team and enhancing their performance to play better every single game. The coach is required to develop the volleyball program to help the team improve their skills, teamwork, and knowledge of volleyball.

About Culver City High School: Culver City High School (CCHS) is a four-year comprehensive high school serving approximately 2,300 students in grades 9 through 12. CCHS is a bastion of diversity where students of all backgrounds find comfort, safety, and acceptance. We focus on readiness for college, career, and life as an involved citizen in a rapidly changing society. Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years experience coaching volleyball (head coaching experience preferred) - Have a valid driver’s license, be able to drive, and qualify under the district’s insurance carrier when driving a district vehicle. - Valid CPR/AED/First Aid Certification or able to secure within 1 month of employment. - Desire to continue career improvement

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential data form, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
