Job Summary
Provides one-on-one instruction, as needed, and orients students to the requirements of individual courses and certificate programs. Evaluates each pupil’s growth in knowledge, skill, and attitude within the course being taught while maintaining standards of pupil behavior to foster a functional learning atmosphere. Performs basic attendance accounting and business services as required by the district, and maintains and creates classroom course outlines and syllabi. Additionally, may plan and coordinate work with other teachers, aides, teacher assistants, and other para-professionals, utilizing lectures and other curriculum appropriate to the specific certificate programs’ subject matter. Must have strong organizational skills for effective classroom management and proficient computer skills with a PC.
