BASIC FUNCTION: Under supervision and the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers and preschoolers.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH YOUR APPLICATION: California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification Transcripts EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school required. One year experience in an early childhood setting preferred. Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor's degree program in child development or related field preferred. Three to six units infant/toddler care/development required, based on Permit held. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: • Official Transcripts • CA driver’s license, proof of insurance, • DOJ/FBI/CACI Fingerprint clearance • DMV Pull Notice • TB clearance • Pre-Employment Physical/Drug/Lift clearance
