Job Summary
Develops, implements and evaluates the district's special education, oversees Section 504 Plans, foster youth programs, programs to support students who do not have fixed shelter (or at risk of being unhoused), mental health, wellness and home-hospital programs, and programs to support positive attendance and community partnerships. Collaborates with site and district leaders and staff to support Multi-Tiered Systems and Supports (MTSS), inclusive practices, special education, social emotional learning for students with disabilities across the district. as well as students served in out of district placements for special education.
