Edjoin Application California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit. Valid Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school required. Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred. One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Official Transcripts, valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance, Department of Justice FBI Fingerprint clearance, Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) clearance, Tuberculosis clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance. Mandated Reporter training required within first 6 weeks of employment. Must be at least 18 years of age. IMMUNIZATIONS: Must comply with Senate Bill 792 immunization requirements for influenza, pertussis, and measles.
