Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements Candidates must meet the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in special education, behavior analysis, and/or psychology and at least three (3) years of successful experience providing full-time public school certificated service in special education or working with individuals with disabilities within the specialized field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with increasing levels of responsibility Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Must be able to become certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) in non-violent crisis intervention Interest in OCASAs innovative model of public charter education and commitment to the student’s success Commitment to continuous improvement Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment with outstanding organizational skills
