St. Mel School is a Kindergarten to Eighth grade co-ed school located in the San Fernando Valley Region of the ADLA in Woodland Hills. We are seeking an innovative and faith filled Middle School Science and Religion teacher. The ideal candidate should have a passion for assisting students with their faith formation and educational journey. The candidate should possess good classroom management, be organized and flexible, creative in lesson planning, and have effective communication skills. The candidate must be willing to collaborate with parents, students, and other staff to ensure students are engaged, learning, and thriving. Requirements / Qualifications

*Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church. *Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university. *Ability to effectively communicate with parents/guardians on a regular basis. *Technologically proficient (experience with iPads, Chromebook’s, Zoom, Google Classroom, Interactive (Vibe) Boards, etc.) preferred. *Previous teaching or substitute experience preferred, with demonstrated experience creating lesson plans *Catechetical Certification preferred
