Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates must either hold a valid California Single Subject Art Credential or California Multiple Subject Credential with Supplementary Authorization in Art. Must hold English language learner authorization. In order for your application to be complete you must attach: 1. A cover letter 2. Current resume 3. A brief statement response to any of the four questions posed below(max 250 words), 4. Three letters of recommendation including at least one letter regarding your most recent work experience, 5. Copies of transcripts, 6. Copy of CTC's on-line credential document which shows active credentials or provide information for us to view your credential on CTC's website
Write a statement (250 words max.) on one of the following prompts and upload to application: *Describe a personal learning experience that was memorable for you, and tell us how it has affected the way you work with students; or Describe a special needs student you have had and what you learned about your work as an educator from your contact with him/her; or What specific teaching strategies and techniques have you found effective?; or What are your professional goals for the next 5 years?
