CUHSD is seeking applications for experienced and highly motivated educators to join our Instructional Support Team starting with the 2024-2025 school year. These position are intended to focus on district and school efforts to improve instruction supported by appropriate professional development activities; most specifically in the areas of English Learners (EL) and Special Education. The responsibilities of the positions include providing in-services, modeling, and in-class observations/feedback; arranging for external consultants to provide on-site training and assisting teachers with their personal professional development. Additionally, the positions will help teachers employ a variety of instructional formats and strategies, provide appropriate accommodations, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP) to support students with their individual needs. Qualified applicants will hold a Clear Single Subject credential and have a minimum of four (4) years successful teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, initiative, demonstrated teacher leadership, coaching and mentoring skills; be able to work independently with little supervision; will put students needs first; and will align with the district's core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
