Job Summary

The Lawndale Elementary School District is seeking to fulfill the position of Director of Purchasing. This is a management position, 8 hours/day that accumulates one paid sick day per month of employment and 20 vacation days. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee only health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Purchasing, or related fields. - Equivalent of five years of responsible and varied professional purchasing experience for a school district, business, or government agency. - Qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
