Under direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, plan, organize, manage, and direct all aspects of Student Support Services, which include pupil records, student attendance and welfare, student behavior and discipline, Section 504 Plans, health services, counseling services, parent and student engagement, inter/intra-district attendance, School Attendance Review Board (SARB), school security and safety, disaster/emergency preparation and alternative education issues; to participate and provide leadership in the District’s planning activities; and to do other related functions as directed. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: - Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in a site administrative role as an Assistant Principal or Principal. - Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher, counselor, school nurse or other related certificated position. - Equivalent to the completion of a Master of Arts (MA) or higher degree in education, educational administration, pupil personnel services, counseling and guidance, or closely related field.
