Under general supervision and direction of the Chancellor, the Office Manager Is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the charter school administrative office. Provide administrative assistance to the Chancellor, administrators, office and school staff and students by managing the day to day operations and transactions of the office, answering/screening phone calls, preparing correspondence and other written communication. receiving and responding to inquiries and requests, coordinating meetings and events, supervising office staff, performing various personnel management functions, monitoring staff time and attendance, managing crisis situations, handling confidential information and other related duties. • Oversees and manages the smooth and e?cient opera on of the front o?ce; • Exercises independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in resolving situations arising in the administrator’s absence; • Greets, welcomes and assists all sta?, students, parents, community members, callers and visitors to the school; • Establishes and maintains complex, interrelated ?ling systems and records; • Orders, receives, stores, and distributes instructional and o?ce supplies; • Reviews and checks documents, records, and related forms for accuracy completeness, and conformance to applicable rules and procedures; • Maintains master school calendars of activities and facilities usage and disseminates information on same; • Gives out information in person or by telephone where judgment, knowledge and interpretation of policies and procedures are necessary; • Uses discretion dealing with a variety of sensitive and privileged matters; • Collects and compiles statistical or ?nancial data and other information for inclusion into special reports, proposals, and presentations; • Participates in the selection process of clerical sta?; • Provides direction and training to clerical sta?; For full Job description please refer to the document attached
