Requirements / Qualifications

Education: • Possession of an advanced Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university is preferred. Experience: • Five (5) or more years of successful teaching experience, preferably in the content area of instruction; • Extensive experience facilitating a variety of instructional strategies and learning activities; • Experience teaching adult learners. Credentials: • A valid California Special Education Teacher Credential authorizing teaching of the Severely Handicapped or Education Specialist Instruction Credential with the Specialty Area of Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe Disabilities, Multiple Subject Credential, Single Subject Credential, or equivalent licensure.
