Requirements / Qualifications
The school site will contact applicants directly for interviews. Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential - this position is not intern-eligible. Required Documents: 1. Copy of California Single Subject Teaching Credential – World Languages: Languages Other than English (American Sign Language). 2. Current Resume 3. Current Copy of Transcripts (Official transcripts are required upon hiring) 4. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months. It is recommended that at least one (1) come from a supervising administrator. 5. Letter of Intent addressed to Dr. Kelly Burke, Director, Human Resources 6. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address. 7. All applications must be submitted through EdJoin; no hard copy documents will be accepted. TEACHER INDUCTION: Poway Unified School District offers a teacher induction program to clear the CA preliminary credential to qualified individuals at no cost to the employee.
