Ventura Unified has 3 Comprehensive High Schools, 1 Independent Study High School, 1 Continuation High School and 4 Middle Schools. Industrial Arts/Wood Shop Teacher - Requires an Industrial Arts Credential or a CTE Building and Trades Credential (CTE Credentials do not require a Degree, but need Industry Experience to qualify for Credential) Part time assignments may have opportunities for after school programs. (only use for Part-Time Assignments)

District Application Resume Letter of interest Transcripts Copy of Credential or program eligibility letter (or explanation of Status or Progress toward credential) 3 letters of recommendation

Position requires either a Single Subject: Industrial and Technology Education Credential or a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential in Building and Construction Trades. For a CTE Credential, candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years full-time work experience in the applicable industry sector to provide secondary and/or post-secondary instruction in the established Career Pathway or Training Program. Currently recruiting for individuals with industry experience in Building and Construction Trades.
