Job Summary

Virtual Academy Teachers will be responsible for teaching synchronous and asynchronous classes in their assigned content area. Live classes will consist of one-hour live, virtual sessions twice per week. The Virtual Teacher will also hold scheduled virtual office hours twice per week, monitor student progress, assign grades, and be available for individual student appointments as needed. Dual Enrollment teachers will work with Sequoia Grove’s Dual Enrollment program with Yuba College to provide college course content to high school students. Dual Enrollment teachers will collaborate with High School Counselors and Yuba staff to ensure the successful implementation of the Dual Enrollment Program.
