BASIC FUNCTION Under the direction of an assigned Special Education Manager, assist a certificated teacher in the supervision and instruction of special education students in a variety of educational settings including the home, community and classroom.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school and three years experience in working with school-age children in an organized setting and pass equivalent academic assessment test. LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • A valid Californian's driver’s license and proof of current and appropriate auto insurance coverage. • Must pass equivalent academic assessment test that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing and mathematics or reading, writing and mathematics readiness.
