Job Summary

Job Summary

Serve as an instructional leader responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing monitoring of academic programs, standards, curricula, assessments, and professional development across all K-12 schools in the district. Oversee systems that support teaching and learning, with a focus on college and career readiness initiatives as well as multi-tiered intervention strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students. Guide schools in effectively utilizing instructional materials, applying evidence-based teaching strategies, and administering assessments aligned with academic standards. Design and facilitate high-quality professional learning opportunities to build teacher and staff capacity. Analyze data regularly to evaluate program effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement of educational outcomes.

Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility authorizing service as a School Administrator. Valid California teaching credential. Successful administrative experience as a school site principal is required. Background in curriculum development, instructional methodologies and supervision, and professional development. Experience in implementing a writing assessment program.
