Job Summary
Point Arena High School is looking for a SCIENCE-STEM-BIOLOGY teacher to join our small, rural high school. We are a tight knit community and a student body of just under 140 students. We offer smaller class sizes, academic support essential for delivering high quality education to prepare students for college, career and the workforce. PAHS currently offers biology, integrated STEM, and marine science classes. The science program has worked with NOAA and most recently, Mendocino College Field Station. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about science and connecting with students and our local landscape.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a valid California Teaching Credential in the assigned area, or candidate must be able to obtain a Waiver, STSP or PIP.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the knowledge and ability in qualifying for this position.
