Global Education Academy (GEA), a high performing inner city school, is looking for a P.E. teacher. This position is for the 2024-25 school year. The P.E. teacher will teach California's P.E. standards to all students in grades TK-8. GEA has a small but dedicated staff that produces strong results.

Global Education Academy will provide students with a wide variety of linguistic and cultural experiences that give students the opportunity to develop a true understanding and respect for all people. Global Education Academy will create a safe and challenging learning environment for students, parents, and faculty that emphasizes global awareness and leadership.

Applicants should be a team player capable of working with administration, teachers, intervention teachers, and staff to organize a multi-faceted education program that meets the needs of all students. Applicants will be positive self-starters who is caring and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all students are learning. Creativity in dealing with difficult situations and problems is a must. We are looking for applicants who are genuinely concerned about student learning and believe that the school has the ultimate responsibility for student learning.
